Technical leadership that stays close to delivery
Mirtilo IO is an independent software engineering consultancy based in Portugal. I bring more than 15 years of experience designing, building and modernising enterprise software.
I work with product and engineering teams on architecture, delivery risk, engineering quality, observability and the coaching that helps teams make more decisions for themselves.
How I work
Turn strategy into the next useful decision
Technical direction matters when it helps a team decide and act. I translate business goals into practical technical plans, make trade-offs visible and keep delivery tied to the outcome.
Improve the system and the habits around it
Software quality depends on more than architecture. Tools, processes and team habits matter too. I look for improvements that teams can repeat: better pipelines, clearer ownership, useful signals and safer ways to change code.
Stay close to the work
My hands-on experience includes Java, Jakarta EE, Quarkus, Angular, messaging, REST APIs and distributed systems. I also work closely with product managers, Scrum Masters, stakeholders and technical leaders.
